What We Learn from A Little Princess
I think A Little Princess is one of instructive story. Then what do we learn from the story?
First, feeling complex too much is meaningless and sometimes hurts people around you. For example, Lavinia is the student representative. However, Sara becomes one instead of her temporary after she comes to Miss Minchin's School because Sara is much more intelligent, more beautiful and richer than Lavinia. Her complex leads bullying Sara and she is always mean to her and those who like her. However, her bad behavior never solves her complex. It rather makes her impression worse.
Second, you should not change your attitude based on the amount of money they have. Sara does not treat badly poor girl like Becky. Yet, Miss Minchin changes her attitude after Sara's father died. How ridiculous! Why doesn't her realize that such behavior ruins herself? Is she really a educator? And Ameria should try to convince her that Miss Minchin reclaims. Is her sister scary? Of course she is, but Ameria is also an educator. She should argue her feeling.
Anyway, these villains tell us some lessons. We can learn something what we should and we should't.
